Body Waxing Alternatives Advantages and Disadvantages

Every lady is very curious about their look. It seems to be very embarrassing to look hairs from the whole body. It also occurs in the exposing areas.

Now the removal of hairs is the most wanted part of the personal hygiene’s.  When your body is smooth and free from hairs you feel relax and comfortable. You want to wear sleeveless tops, short skirts. In order not to face some bad situation, women use various hair removal methods.

WAXING

1- Using Hot Wax:

It is a traditional method; it is the beat and common process for the removal of unwanted hairs. It can be do by spread hot wax on to the piece of clothe and paste that cloth on the wanted area and then pressed it. Pull the cloth in the opposite direction of the hairs and then the hairs are removed on that area.

2- Using Wax Strips:

Today, waxing strips are very use and they are available in the market in which wax is also present there. You just need to split one strip into two, put one on that area and rub it gently the heat is produce and, then pull it off.

3-      Home-made Wax:

Mix sugar, lemon juice and water. Heat them on a gas stove until the mixture becomes thick. It will form in the shape of a ball. Flatten it on the area to be waxed and remove quickly in the opposite direction of the hair growth.

Advantages:

1- Removes hair from its root.

2- Also removes the tan on your skin with the hair.

3- The results are long lasting, about 4-6 weeks.

Disadvantages:

1- Requires much effort to be put in.

2- Is extremely painful.

3- Rashes may appear sometimes, in the case of people having sensitive skin.
4- Requires patience to tolerate the hotness of the wax. Skin may become red, in some cases.

We all are well familiar with the disadvantages of using hot wax and moreover, it can not use on all areas of the body even whole the sensitive areas.

Shaving:

It is the most simple and least expensive method for the removal of the hairs. Razor is use for this process. You use shaving cream before use razor on your skin.

Advantages:

1- It is the easiest way to remove hair from your body.
2- Totally pain-free.
3- Less time consuming.
4- It is one of the most convenient methods of hair removal. You can be easily done at home on your own.
Disadvantages:

1- The new growth is generally hard, thick and coarse.
2- In some cases, irritation may occur.
3- Chances of getting cuts and wounds are there.

Hair Removal Cream

It is a best way for the removal of unwanted hairs. You just spread the cream over the wanted area after 5-7 minutes; use the edge of a spatula for the removal of hairs. If your hairs are very thick then it will get 8-10 minutes. It depends on the thickening of the hairs. And then, wash the area with water.

Advantages:
1- it is the best way of removing hair than shaving or waxing.
2- In this process we can not feel pain.

3- No worries of getting any nicks and cuts.

Disadvantages:
1- Irritation and redness may occur in the cases of women having sensitive skin.
2- This method not long lasting as hair starts growing again within 2-3 days, after the hair removal.
3- Not suitable for use on face, head breast, genital use or any other body part.

Laser

Laser is the beat and easy way for the removal of unwanted hairs and from this you can easily get rid of these unwanted hairs. The hairs are removed by targeting by a beam of laser light. Many of them do this by the specialist hand.

Advantages:

1- It is the most convenient method.
2- Results are the best in this case as it allows for complete hair removal.
3- Fit for face, breast and other sensitive areas also.
Disadvantages:

1- It is expensive.
2- Multiple sittings might be required because all the hair is not in the same stage at the same time.
3- It is not suitable for darker skin tones.
4- It cannot be done on grey, blonde or red hair.

Threading:

It is a common way to get the eye-brow hair removed. Threading involves use of a cotton thread to define your eyebrows.

Advantages:

1- Helps to shape your eyebrows and define them beautifully.
2- It is far better than brow waxing.

Disadvantages:

1- Threading is quite painful.
2- Quite often, the area from where the hairs are removed swells.
3- Corns may develop, sometimes.
4- It can only be used for small areas, like for eyebrows, upper lip, forehead, etc.
